Do you want to be happy? Improve relationships? Live in harmony with yourself?

Well, the first thing to do is to remember and improve the seven most important virtues.

1. Sense of humor

Healthy self-mockery is essential. Being self-ironic means knowing how to laugh at your own imperfections and (why not), also at your mistakes. So let’s commit ourselves to coloring life with a healthy sense of lightness: it will benefit us and the people we love.

2. Female solidarity

There are women who compete with others. And then there are women, the wonderful ones, who are supporting us, encouraging us and making us better. And they are the ones who ultimately make the world better. Which kind of woman do you want to be?

3. Independence

To find inner harmony it is essential to learn to feel good about ourselves and enjoy our own company. We must, of course, continue to build and improve relationships, but at the same time maintain our emotional independence.

4. Gratitude

Reminding ourselves to be thankful every day for what we have can truly change our lives. This is why the mind and spirit must be trained in gratitude. We often focus our attention on what we don’t have but, in doing so, we forget that we are much “richer” than we think.

5. Desire to learn

There is a saying that “whoever does not learn, stops” and it is absolutely true. Drawn from the daily routine (and from junk TV…), we risk neglecting our brain. To grow it is essential to continue studying, reading and learning new things. We always remember Plutarch’s lesson: “the mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled”.

6. Ethics

It is useless to tell lies and try to justify some attitudes to ourselves. When we are faced with a choice, the first question we should ask ourselves is: “is what I am about to do ethical?”. Our soul will be able to suggest the answer… acting ethically is the real key to rediscovering inner harmony.

7. Awarness

If we don’t recognize our worth first, no one else will. A healthy sense of self is respect for one’s dignity. So do not follow those who don’t love us, do not beg for crumbs of attention! Don’t focus on what you want right now, but on what you deserve for life…
